Great team and line manager, very organised workload.

There used to be staff events such as Christmas parties, after COVID these were never properly reinstated and so there isn't as much of a community amongst staff. Management changes have left university in disarray. Not much opportunity for job progression.

Well maintained campus with an onsite Morrisons and Post Office. Time off over the Christmas and New Year period. Government pension scheme.

Staff in this faculty are typically limited to one day per week working from home, while other faculties often allow three or more days for staff in comparable roles. High workload pressures are noticeable, with unfilled vacancies frequently absorbed into existing roles without corresponding salary increases or updated job descriptions. No opportunities for career progression. Offices are dull.
