Pros
The employees at Edge Impulse are extremely intelligent, ambitious, and focused on the mission of the company. I have not worked with such smart people for a long time - many are engineers, love hacking new projects, and changing the hardware ecosystem. The pay is fair, they fully cover medical benefits, and have offsites every 6 months for us to get together. I have full autonomy in the role and feel that we are on the cusp of something massive. I enjoy the tight company culture right now with our growing and mighty group. There is still a ton of opportunity to go after in the ecosystem, which is why it is exciting and we aren't fighting over accounts daily because of this. I prefer this over just politics and trying to claim your deals. I think this company is the leader in the Edge ML space right now and way ahead of the curve.
Cons
I feel that the company is still growing, so a lot of learning continues to occur. We've had to pivot focus while I am here, but in a good way. It is very fast paced, and decisions are made quickly, but strategically, so make sure you fit that type of culture.
