Pros

Edmunds is VERY good to their employees. The benefits are unreal- 6 months paid maternity, unlimited paid vacation time (within reason of course), great healthcare, catered lunches, and the list goes on and on. The vetting process is long and extensive because they invest a lot in the happiness of their employees. Great place to work!

Cons

Don't mess up though. They have little tolerance for anything subpar and are quick to fire. Certain departments have very heavy turnover. But, hey, if you do your job and do it well then you're good.

Thank you for the great review. We are happy to hear that you see the value that leadership truly places on investing in all employees. This is because the leadership team understands that health and balance are important to employees’ happiness and well being and strive to have the best perks in place to contribute to those things. It’s those things that have made this a Best Place To Work 7 years running. One note is that while we do pride ourselves in hiring the best of the best and finding top talent , there is also a lot that goes into making sure individuals are provided with feedback and given guidance to succeed. Like most companies, we do have high standards and expectations and we do everything to help people understand how they’re doing.

Pros

My experience here has been exceptional. The company offers a fantastic work-life balance, a supportive culture, and generous perks, all within a fully remote setup. The team is genuinely caring, and I've found ample opportunities for growth thanks to the ability to rotate teams. I initially planned to stay for a copule years before moving to a big tech company, but I've been so impressed that I've been here for many years and plan to stay longer.

Cons

Since the company operates on a nearly full-remote model, there are fewer opportunities for in-person socialization; however, the option to work from the office is always available for those who want to connect with colleagues. While the compensation is competitive and by no means low, it is important to note that it is less than what's offered by major tech companies, and no stock options are included as part of the compensation package.
