Pros
I had a great supervisor but she was on the other end of Australia. Admin people were good. Working with this company taught me to advocate for myself and not heavily rely on your employer. They do provide once you ask for it but some I believe should be standard and not something I have to go back and forth in emails. Feels like they just secretly hope you don’t find out.
Cons
I found it disrespectful when they offered me a low rate for travel despite pointing out what the standard rate is. I had to bring up an ultimatum to even have this conversation (e.g not travelling to see clients until it is settled). I don’t believe that they don’t even know what the standard is given they are a big company. It’s not their first time having staff travel in the community. After I resigned I got an email if I’m interested for a role. They don’t even remember me at all.
