Pros

The pay is good relative to similar jobs.

Cons

So many things, but the biggest is that they purposely didn’t promote anyone who questioned the company’s response to wfh/the pandemic. Many managers who were just trying to express varying opinions have had their career stalled. The motto they have is “dissent, then once decided, support”. This is a blatant lie. There was no opportunity for dissent/feedback, only a decision from them and punishment for questioning. They are actively creating a management structure of employees who won’t speak up if there is an issue. Among other things, the work life balance is pretty terrible. If you are working less than ~43 ish hours you get marked as having extra bandwidth and they give you higher workloads until you can’t finish it anymore. They’ve also been completely inflexible about work from home policy, causing hundreds of employees to leave and when we can no longer support our customers like we should due to shortages they throw us convoluted useless half wfh days as if that will fix the problem. I’m really concerned with the direction that management is taking this company, they’ve used up about all the good will they had when this started.

Pros

Impact: You are part of creating systemic level change for healthcare organizations. You get to be on site and work directly with providers and see how these changes impact their communities. People: Extremely smart and capable. I feel like I can rely on my team in a way I haven't at previous employers. New hires are entry level, so there's a strong community for people in a similar stage of life. Culture: Quirky but in a real, unique way. People are collaborative and celebrate shared accomplishments. The campus enshrines a very specific (and fun!) vibe. Location: Madison is awesome. Benefits: The health insurance is unparalleled. Sabbatical is a super cool perk too. Growth: A lot of autonomy and responsibility allows people to rise to the challenge. Stability: Solid industry, no lay-offs.

Cons

Remote work flexibility: 5 days a year
