Pros
There is always something interesting and challenging going on. The company has a large international presence, which means there is a broader view of the work being done. There is so much opportunity for learning and exposure to complex transactions, acquisitions, foreign currency, foreign subsidiaries, etc. The people who work here are very smart and dedicated, great to work with. Being large and diverse, there are opportunities for advancement and working in other departments.
Cons
If you like routine and knowing exactly what your day will be, Epicor is not for you. The company is still working on consolidating systems, so the current systems are old and there are a lot of them. Data is hard to gather and analyze. Deadlines are tight, and that requires the dedication to stay and get the work done. The expectation is that you will commit to doing it, yet the compensation isn't competitive. There is an effort by management to provide more "soft" benefits to offset this, but its an issue.
