Solid Leadership, Brutal Middle Management.. - Senior Software Developer Faire Employee Review

Middle management very inexperienced, devs shoe-horned into management roles where they were not nearly as effective. Hours can be brutal.. and not necessary! HR unfortunately kind of “classic” — I was lied to about job opportunities during hiring, throughout my time there I was misinformed, and I made the mistake of not getting everything in writing! Really hoped a startup would be less painful here than corporate, but turned out worse :( Faire feels like it really wants to be google, but to get there they are burning out employees left and right and have policies fit for a company the size of google, not a startup
