Pros
There were free meals, and the company provided me with a job after one year of unemployment. There are also employee tips, which while not a lot of money, adds up to help you in a pinch such as when you're low on gas or something. My schedule also was respected.
Cons
Managers are RUDE. They pretty much just sit in the back office doing nothing most of the time. Whenever I closed, we were severely understaffed a lot of the time, and rather than call someone in for coverage, we were pretty much expected to deal with it. This resulted in closes taking up to 2 or 3 hours (when, at every other restaurant job I've held, it took us an hour and a half MAX to close). Also, they are more concerned with their ticket times than the cashiers getting through the line quickly. By that I mean that cashiers were told to slow down during the order taking process because the cooks and line people couldn't get the burgers out fast enough for the managers' liking. This resulted in a severe loss of morale for the whole crew constantly.
