Pros
- Some wonderful and smart people scattered across the business - Free lunch on Fridays - OK compensation and benefits - Great views from the office
Cons
- Tyrannical member of senior management who is making everyone's lives a misery. The individual in question has been reported to HR by at least 9 different people within the past two years for offences ranging from bullying and reducing employees to tears to provoking mental breakdowns. No repercussions have followed, and indeed the woman in question now boasts that reporting her to HR will result in you losing your job. Despite only having a single employee directly reporting to her, she somehow has influence over the hirings and firings across the business, meaning everyone in the company is afraid of her and can do nothing about her behaviour. The MD in London continues to give her power and support that seems to contradict how everyone else in the business views her. The bullying, scape-goating, shout-first-ask-questions-later attitude has started to be adopted by other members of the company, turning the atmosphere toxic. - Attempts to replace the warm, family atmosphere with a corporate 'hire and fire' culture is resulting in a climate of negativity and mistrust in the company.
