Pros
Nice office with great view over London Friday lunch Breakfast
Cons
The company is stuck in the 90s. People are resources and their opinions don't matter. The perfect employee needs to be willing to compromise and accept whatever direction the management proposes however delusional or unachievable this might be. If there is no physical time to implement something, it still needs to be done somehow because it has already been sold to the client! I have never dealt with such unreasonable business expectations in my life. There are a few top management people whose opinions trump everything, even common sense. One example would be that the financial world is not ready for the web yet (or html5 how they like to call it). Management often behaves childish, they are not able (and do not care) to understand any arguments or limitations no matter how valid, but would rather candidly ignore any concerns raised hoping they would go away. They will also get rid of anyone who does not fit this culture. They had such amazing people working for them, but all have now naturally given up trying to make it work. I would have gladly recommended this company to anyone 2 years ago, but it has now become unbelievably bad. Avoid.
