Cons
- Extreme micromanagement by CEO, which is the biggest barrier for the company to scale. -Even exec team is scrutinized and micromanaged by CEO. - CEO is a toxic and abusive individual. -Employees give 2 weeks, but it is Focal System’s standard practice to make your last day the day you give notice, causing chaos for other employees. -Extremely low retention rates, so low that projects take 5x the length due to lack of continuity due to turnover. -‘Poor cultural fit’ is code for non-white or accent. -IQ test is required for all new hires, however CEO feels personally threatened by high IQ individuals. -CEO will constantly humiliate staff members, including leadership.
