Pros

Working with young people. Holidays off. Not many nights. Maybe 8 Saturdays a year and no Sundays.

Cons

Manager is kind of the middle man when it comes to the book portion of the store. The professors have a hard time giving the book information to the course materials manager and the course materials manager has a hard time getting the right products and communicating.

Pros

it was great working for Follet, there was great flexibility schedule alongside great management, and I had gained experience overall. Everyone I worked at were amazing and driven.

Cons

The temporary job is only for a month, and I only worked 2-3 days per week. so, it's important to keep in mind of dates.

Pros

At one point they had a nice cafeteria with freshly cooked food for decent prices, but they shuttered it around COVID. My guess is it's probably not back now.

Cons

Youll have to work with lazy and incompetent T1 techs with 20+ years of service with the company and will never be jettisoned no matter how little output they have. Terrible pay, calls almost never stop coming in, toxic environment. Worst HR department you'll ever experience Promotions almost never happen because there are always employees with 15 years of service ahead of you. Laziest T1s got promoted to T2 if there ever was a spot. T3s would be let go and not replaced.
