Pros

Pay is good Plenty of people to make friends with

Cons

They never gave me 4 of my paychecks There's so much stress and such a hostile environment that it literally made me depressed and suicidal. The only company I've ever worked for that make you feel horrible about yourself, make you lose sleep, make you spend all of your free time NOT working - doing work at home. I had to quit mainly for this reason. I changed my career to an E.R. nurse and it is a million times less stressful and less hostile. That is how severe Sitel's work environment is. Lack of preparedness They take many mins off your break time Unqualified coaches and helpers with huge egos Verbally abusive trainer Threatened with being fired constantly even if you're great at the job No benefits for 1 year If you accidentally turn off the phone or something, the mentors will come over and be extremely rude. No understanding or kindness if you accidentally make a mistake Constant gossip from the trainers/mentors/coaches/bosses HR is 0 help for these problems

Pros

Some level of job security. You know exactly what you're doing because it's a call center. Different client projects that you could apply to be part of. Located in Orem by the mall. Decent pay ($25 an hour... for now).

Cons

You can't have anything on the call floor depending on the client (I support Intuit, so there are no phones, paper, pencils, books... nothing). The benefits are atrocious. PTO doesn't start until after 6 months. Company politics and favorites exist here. I'd say about 30% of calls get transferred to us from other departments (Payroll, Payments, Desktop, Saves, Sales, pretty much everyone) that should not have been transferred and could have been solved without us. They're going to hire more account resolution specialists soon after so many agents left, and they're starting their pay at $20 an hour.... so just think about what means for us. You get one occurrence per day you are absent even if you call in sick. I think 10 is the limit.
