Pros

Fourth as a company provides many opportunities to grow, learn, contribute to customers and travel. The Fourth products are very good, caters very well to the Hospitality Market and is constantly innovating to keep up to the market needs and industry expectations.

Cons

Certain key elements within Fourth can be very money driven over customer satisfaction which is disappointing. You have to constantly work very hard to make your mark, as your hard work can be easily forgotten by favouritism in the company. HR is not the best, very limited sense of employee concern.

Thank you for making the effort to leave a review about your time with us and recognising our dedication to improvement. Our People Operations department has had significant investment in the last year going from one person to 7 people. Over this period we have launched several initiatives dedicated to employee development and wellness such as the House of Excellence (our learning and development programme), the live awards, and the Global Corporate Challenge. Most recently in the first week of August 2016 we dedicated a whole week to employee wellness featuring workshops, gym memberships, exercises classes, Health MOTs and a whole host of wellness boosting tips. We are always looking for ways to improve the experience of our customers and employees so please contact me personally if you would like to discuss in more detail

Pros

Very few pros come to mind, there were some great people on the individual contributor level I worked with across multiple teams however many left or are on their way out.

Cons

This is a highly toxic and disorganized work environment. Leadership’s lack of knowledge, direction, and experience is apparent. When I started, leadership was disengaged and disconnected to everything. I noticed there was a sudden and obvious change in leadership’s approach where “urgent” asks from above were being requested with little to no context. Unrealistic and changing expectations started being communicated as the norm. This caused confusion, chaos, and burn out, resulting in extremely low morale across teams. Concerns and feedback were either ignored or people were penalized/suddenly terminated for speaking up. Lastly, it doesn’t go unsaid there is no work life balance or professional boundaries here. This is a work environment that sets people up for failure and can have a serious impact on overall well-being.
