Pros

Fragomen is a good firm to get exposure to the field of immigration, its a name brand so your experience will be recognized by almost any other firm you go to next. The majority of the paralegal staff is young, so its a good place to go right out of school if you're looking for law firm experience.

Cons

Fragomen is a revolving door for low-level underlings (otherwise known as 'Assistant Paralegals'), therefore they struggle to get the most out of people with wholesome skillsets because they are faced with constant turnover and have no time to devote to training people properly and helping them develop the breadth of knowledge they need to advance.

Pros

Decent overtime pay. I also had a decent training/onboarding experience, but this was not the norm.

Cons

Exploitative, 80+ hour work weeks, 2am messages from attorneys, burn-out model for paralegals and associates (scoop them up after BA or JD and overwork them until they quit), misrepresent case load during interview by 50% of total, low ceiling for non-attorney career advancement. Have an exit plan.
