Pros
Some colleagues were really nice and supportive
Cons
The company and the Management claim they place strong emphasis on people and social purpose in its external messaging, including statements from leadership. However, my experience did not align with these claims, particularly in relation to how employee concerns were handled and how decisions affecting staff were communicated and managed. During my time at GB Group plc, I experienced concerns regarding management behaviour and internal handling of employee issues. I raised concerns about workplace conduct and treatment of staff, but felt these were not effectively addressed. My boss was forcing me to do immoral and illegal stuff. One of them was to force me to fire a colleague unfairly because he doesnt like him for personal reasons. My boss was also playing a lot of unhealthy mental games, such as giving me certain commands then come back and say (oh i nevber told you to do that), he mentioned also he was able to apy on my and other. He also mentioned revenge, As soon as i raise my concerns finally to his boss, i was immediallt dismissed. I was dismissed during probation after raising concerns, which left me feeling that the process lacked transparency and fairness. After leaving, I submitted a data subject access request (DSAR) and had concerns about the completeness and format of the information provided. GBG was playing with words and doing mind games and refusing to delete my personal data which i was and still afraid that they would use it to harm me or harm my family. Some records I expected to see were not included, and the data was provided largely in non-searchable formats, making it difficult to review. Overall, I felt there were weaknesses in internal communication, escalation processes, danger and handling of employee data requests. Advice to management: Improve transparency in HR processes, ensure proper handling of employee concerns, encourage morals and decency and mental health among managers and strengthen compliance and clarity in DSAR responses and internal documentation practices.
