Pros
The vision of becoming a digital industrial company was great There was a lot of courage in GE trying to disrupt itself and become a digital market maker for the industrial sector Some good innovation has come from the industrial GE businesses and they have a strong technology footprint across energy, aviation, healthcare, etc.
Cons
The leadership is a fraud. Not only they failed in the strategy and execution of the digital business. But they kept pretending everything was great and clustered the power among dishonest "leaders' whose egos were bigger than their vision and smarts. This leadership team created a big fat lie as a business and it was demoralizing to work in their organization.
