Pros
I enjoy working for Garces. I work at one of their less known restaurants, JG Domestic. It is a pretty sweet deal, M-F 11:30-7pm - unheard of hours for the service industry. The business is pretty good, I make an average of $150 per day, which is alright for how much I work. The guests are pretty good for the most part, a few stuck up ones obviously. Management is great.
Cons
However, there are a few issues. Garces has some corporate level management issues. These include things like miscommunication between their events sales department and the rest of their team. My restaurant is also the Cinderella of Garces Group and the other restaurants are the wicked stepsisters. We are frequently snubbed and forgotten. They also seem to be opening a lot of new restaurants while not focusing on the ones they currently operate.
