Pros
I worked with some of the smartest people in the industry at the director and solution architect levels. There are/were people there who are leagues ahead of others I have worked within the industry.
Cons
GDIT’s biggest enemy is itself as I saw opportunities get squandered or plain missed due to poor VP level management. Leaders are supposed to simplify things and knock down barriers. GDIT has VPs who erect barriers. The GDIT acquisition of CSRA left my group with a VP who lacked the industry experience, life experience, technical chops, the intellect, and maturity for the role. Even worse this VP is an idea thief. It became increasingly hard to support the company after being saddled with such a poorly thought out VP promotion. Even harder was taking the next level of VPs seriously as people or professionals. I guess this person wasn't a threat to the VPs above them. Corporate IT infrastructure is particularly challenging. Network outages at corporate HQ aren’t uncommon. Random Password lockouts are also a thing.
