Pros

Great office location Continuous media training Enjoyable supplier events and nights out

Cons

Colleagues are underpaid and recognition is always down played. You work over-time constantly, with no reward or benefit, and when you have a health appointment you're expected to take a half days holiday. The wellbeing team....well you wouldn't need one of those if you actually looked after your staff in the first place. The company is very much stuck in their ways and any advice or ideas for change tend to be swept under the carpet or completely ignored. Leadership are far from supportive

Pros

I joined Generation Media just a day before lockdown and spent my first 18 months working from home. Despite starting remotely, the support I received was second to none and I instantly knew that I had made the right choice. Since joining, I have always been encouraged to push myself, learn new skills and continue growing. Generation Media takes pride in investing in its people and puts a heavy focus on training and development. I have been promoted based on my hard work, commitment and fully supported while completing my ACCA qualification. Generation Media also puts a lot of effort into organising fun and engaging socials that keep things exciting and bring everyone together. Overall, Generation Media is a company that values its people, encourages learning and growth and creates an environment where you can thrive both professionally and personally.

Cons

The hours can be a little longer with less flexibility, but that comes with the territory in a fast-paced, ambitious business. The upside is that hard work never goes unnoticed and achievements are always recognised and celebrated, which makes it all worthwhile.
