Soft cap on earnings, unless you are willing to travel or go into mid-level management Not much job performance feedback Very difficult to build a reliable and skilled team, usually working alone Very simple cuisine, very low level of skill required, yet somehow your teammates will still manage to disappoint. No sense of building personal skills, there is nothing really to learn for someone with some culinary experience. Dealing with Whole Foods employees and structures can get confusing.
