Getty Images requires a large personal commitment with little monetary or career development pay off. Upper management does not listen or understand how to move the business forward, so they put pressure on the lower rungs to get there, starting new projects constantly, hiring new teams, and then laying off those teams as soon as they don't show immediate returns. Comp structures have been changed to make advancement unappealing and upward movement/training is nonexistent. They also retain employees who actively harm the work environment while claiming a no tolerance policy for harassment.
Diversity is used as a selling point in content, but not seen in offices.
