Pros

Selling Getty Images products is a great experience and you never get bored. The culture of the company is inclusive and highlights the importance of people rathen than just business, making the employees feel listened and free to express their opinions and frame of mind. Good flexibility granted that allows a great life-work balance.

Cons

The company has changed a lot in the last few years, giving less and less space to the feedbacks coming from the employees (and often customers), automating and standardasing all the processes and communications both internal and with customers, not considering the complexity of the product the company sells and the fact that clients from Europe are much different than the ones from USA, and require a different approach.

It is really great to hear that you felt heard and valued as an employee, as this is a critical area of our culture that we work hard toward. Our aim through our flexible working principles is to give all employees the space to balance personal obligations and professional responsibilities, while feeling most productive and comfortable. This flexibility is something we have strived toward well before the pandemic and will continue to support in the future. However, I am disappointed that you felt that you did not have an opportunity to share feedback. We distribute an annual Engagement Survey, an annual Pulse Survey, facilitate quarterly Manager Check-In Conversations, share toolkits on giving feedback, host Open Forums with the CEO, and more. I am keen to learn more about the barriers you felt in this space. Further, we divide our Sales function regionally to ensure that we have a true global approach. Our teams in EMEA and APAC are skilled in the complexity of our products and have alignment with with the customers in these locations. - fun culture where you get to hear talks by photographers - adopts new technologies relatively early in the game - a really great place to learn and grow as a developer

Cons

- can handle shifts/re-orgs poorly with communication, leaving employees feeling unheard and unvalued.
