Pros

- Skilled employees find a wealth of interesting tasks to do and can learn a lot quickly based on project diversity - Employees must be in the office between 9-4 but can be flexible on the exact hours (i.e. work 7-4 or 9-6 they desire) - "Trial by fire" can be both a pro and a con based on the exact scenario, but a lot of responsibility can be earned early. Most engineers/managers are receptive to giving any help or advice when needed. - All employees are friendly and it is a welcoming environment - The work performed at EG-GILERO is more fulfilling and more interesting than many engineering jobs on the market. Engineers design, interact with customers, and bring concepts to market.

Cons

- Salaries are among the lowest in the area for an engineer, in the bottom 5%. Bargain salaries are imperative for EG-GILERO to run the "billable hour" business model. - Review process doesn't necessarily reward employees, stellar work does not equal stellar pay or raises - There can be periods of idle time for employees that lead to frustration by employees and management - Ideal employee for this company has minimal home life to increase billable hours at the office - Almost no room for advancement other than experience to get a job elsewhere - Base PTO is below average and 401(k) is at or below average, though it's the lowest I've personally seen or heard of.

Pros

-Good Pay -Way to get good experience across multiple projects

Cons

-I would have monthly meetings on my progress as an intern and I got fired a month before with no prior notice that I wasn't performing to there expectations, anyway I had monthly meetings. -I was told that I was learning but I wasn't taking the lead, anyway I was hired as an intern. This was the reasoning they let me go. -Very high expectations without laying the ground work or communicating that
