Pros

There is an amazing food market couple of minutes away from the office Your job is secure because without the unbelievable work hours that CSMs do then the accounts would be falling apart at the seams The company is growing at rapid rate and there are some very smart employees that work at Global-e

Cons

In a nutshell - multi billion pound post-IPO company that still operates as if they were founded last week. Unsure where to start so will begin with work hours. Management refuse to allocate resources where required and thus employees are stretched to the point of breaking. Expect to be working at least 1.5 hours outside of your regular contract (9-6) every single day. There is no process for anything and you have to crawl your way to understanding / resolving any issue. Work hours and difficulties of the job are acknowledged by management but their response is that "Keep going, you will progress within the company"... Which would be great, if anyone did actually progress through the company. Work life balance is the worst I've experienced at any organization and you can expect to be contacted whilst on holiday for support. Diversity and inclusion is a joke to say the least, search up the organizational chart and you will see for yourself. Mistakes are called out in front of the entire team whereas achievements are met with "great but what next?" My advice to candidates - unless you are desperate to the point of having no food, look elsewhere.

Pros

Global-e is by far the strongest solution in the cross-border eCom space. The solution is well built, with the worlds biggest brands on board to support it. Within company structure, leadership prioritizes internal promotion above hiring externally, which gives all employees an excellent path forward to promotion.

Cons

As the company is so large, there can be more processes to follow / red tape to manage. Overall, necessary processes keep everyone working together and aligned so I wouldn't report that as a heavy "con"
