Very, very poorly managed at all levels and quite good at losing/wasting money. Upper-level management is frequently dishonest about the state of the company. Inter-departmental politics are a HUGE deal. Lots of "good ol boys" clubs across departments. The IT department is an absolute nightmare – most incompetent and badly-run IT you can possibly conceive of. The IT managers are even worse than the techs.
