Wonderful colleagues, good compensation and benefits, really strong processes and automation, interesting tech challenges and although not perfect, a decent tech stack and approach to reducing tech debt
Cons
The company has gone through several rounds of layoffs, following the sad trend of expanding far beyond its means during the post pandemic boom and then having to make huge amounts of redundancies shortly after. The positives of the company were getting worn away with each round of redundancies and I’d fear the company is no longer the place I enjoyed working so much. There also seemed to be an anti-wfh sentiment from senior leadership that did not fit the general opinion at all. 9-6 working hours, longer than almost all other companies.
