      Pros

      Easy going work environment and good colleagues apart from executives.

      Cons

      You will not be given a chance to succeed. No leads, unrealistic goals, and will fire you without warning or PIP. They will scapegoat you based on their poor strategic decisions that lead to poor outcomes. They will fire you out of the blue with no remorse after gaslighting you into thinking that your job is safe. Their executives will lie directly to your face, and falsify metrics to justify your termination. Just robots with great manipulation skills.

As the founder and CEO of the company, I deeply care about the experience of every team member and making sure we do all we can to set them up for success. Like any sales organization, our sales leaders are held to high standards of business performance goals, and are trusted and empowered to make personnel decisions based on the performance and potential of the sales team. It's very important to us that termination decisions are thoughtful and well backed up by performance and objective data.       Pros

      There’s definitely pros to working at GoCo. - Ability to work fully remote - Culture that colleagues create is great. - Your schedule is definitely flexible. - Unlimited PTO - Decent 401k - Great footing into the HRIS industry for learning. - CEO is very nice and does good to cast vision for the companies future and pioneering a pathway to that goal.

      Cons

      As for any company there are always cons. No company is perfect and neither is GoCo. -The salaries are below market average for the industry that they are in. - Performance reviews could use more adequate structuring to include solid pay increases. Majority of the time the increases are not significant enough to where you probably would rather just not have gotten the “increase” at all. - Health benefits are ok. Regarding Vision benefits you would think with being a computer heavy company there would be impeccable vision coverage for frames and lenses. There is not. Overall the cons drastically fall under the amount you are paid for the results that you provide. Completely up to you if entering this fast pace industry is worth a potential pay cut and lack of wage increase once entered in.
