Pros
You can start your career as a personal trainer. I've seen someone at the front desk becoming a trainer too so it's not hard to obtain this job if they're hiring. You can have your own schedule as well. Free membership is also part of it.
Cons
If you're a new trainer you will have to constantly look for a new prospect by calling members and it could get tiring and annoying because you think you're there to train people but initially the majority of your hours will be conducting sales, calling prospects for minimum wage. Pay is also kind of bad but since it is an entry level job in my opinion, it's understandable. Build your career and client base here and move onto freelance training.
