Pros

Can't think of one at all

Cons

-Unprofessional, back stabbing and toxic environment - Owned by a brother (who is a pig) and sister who do not get along, argue infront of employees and create the toxic environment. They were fed with silver spoons so they have no idea how to run the company and fly by the seat of their pants. They do not have any modern systems set in which they even know what is costs them to make their product, absolutely riduclous! - Most of the staff is incompetent you work with or happen to be family members so more work will rest on your shoulders once they know you're capable - Stopped paying for employee benefits/no raises - Once you leave Graphic Image and see how other companies are supposed to run, makes you wonder how they open their doors everyday - Dated procedures - Owners aren't willing to change the business model and grow with industry speed to market changes - their lines tend to be dated and boring. Every handbag looks like a box. But the owner can't take any advice nor does he fuel designer creativity - Illegals working in the factory attached to the building / building is definatinly not to code. They are OCEAs worst nightmare - Underpaid, overworked and unappreciative - By far has to be the worst job I've ever had in my career

Graphic Image has been producing its products in our own American factory for 40 years. As a family owned business, we strive to provide a positive work atmosphere that abides by Federal & State laws. We employ over 150 people, with a significant number of employees having tenures of 10 years or more. A surprisingly high number of employees who leave eventually ask to return. Our staff is an “A” team who share the challenges to create the highest quality products on our own soil. Unfortunately, those who cannot meet the high standards that have become our legacy cannot be successful members on our dynamic team.

Pros

Graphic Image was always my favorite brand. I left and came back because I love the brand. The owners are fair and loyal to their employees. The company is an American institute: third generation, family run American factory right on Long Island. Amazing! The people here are great. From the front office to factory worker, you couldn’t find a nicer group of people.

Cons

It is a very fast paced company. The owners might be slight workaholics – they are working early mornings, late nights and weekends too. They don’t expect you to work like them but it can be somewhat contagious.

Pros

a few nice people work there

Cons

-deceptive about PTO, they say you get 10 days, but you have to use 4 during the week of 4th of july and 4 the week of christmas or you just dont get paid those days -toxic environment; owners (brother and sister) scream at each other across office, one will tell you to do something one way and the other will tell you to do it the exact opposite, and both say not to tell the other. leaving you stuck in the middle. -inappropriate: multiple degrading emails sent to employees on nights and weekends from owner. -dirty, dust everywhere (even in office, no 'its a factory' excuse), bugs, rats, the one cleaning lady (who is a factory worker) can only to so much at the end of the day -no acknowledgment when you go above and beyond; listen i dont need praise for everything i do, but when its only 'negative' things pointed out every day, it makes you wonder why you sit at a job just to get crapped on for doing exactly what you were told, but the owner forgot he told you to do it -no concept of what the hire people to do; they have super high turnover, and expect people sitting in the same room as the person who left to have the same exact skills as the person who left, or that its easy and cheap to outsource work they were paying someone full time to do
