Pros
I have worked for our organization for 15 years. I started with my franchise as a receptionist and enjoyed the salon environment so much that I decided to go to school to get my cosmetology licensing so I could move forward with the company. They were great at letting me working around my school schedule. Once I became a stylist the company helped train me to develop my skills both in the salon and in advanced training workshops. I was quickly promoted to assistant manager. I was able to work with a manager and GM who really helped me develop my skills as a leader and was then promoted to salon manager. I love working for Great Clips! They offer competitive wages, lots of bonuses and commissions, paid time off, health insurance, retirement plan, and a ready made clientele. They do the marketing so all you have to do is come to work and service the clients. Our salon has a fast paced, fun and positive environment. I am proud to work for such a great company.
Cons
We don't do chemical services but I don't miss it one bit.
