      Pros

      You gain experience cutting hair

      Cons

      Hourly pay is not enough, you may have to work 6 or 7 days just to get your full time hours with no over time pay, there is no uniformity of the salons within the franchise.

      Because each salon is independently owned and operated, franchisees may use a number of different factors to determine stylist's total compensation.       Pros

      Great co-workers, good tips, generally busy, clientele overall friendly, management is super cool and will try to be as flexible as possible with your schedule.

      Cons

      Working evenings and weekends, but that is salon life.

      Flexible schedules, 401k, health, & dental benefits, bonuses (based on salon performance, base wage with poetional to hit commission on service & product sales, fun friendly & welcoming environment for employees/customers, continuing education for growth in the industry, professional career growth with Great Clips (depending upon your franchise)

      Cons

      Haircutting exclusive so if you enjoy other services in the industry (chemicals, waxing, updo styling) this is not the place Franchised salons, so salons are ran differently.
