Pros

Free education, friendly coworkers , learned how to cut hair fast. "Their" customers were sometimes friendly. Learned a lot about the hair industry

Cons

Paid under minimum wage. Require cuts under 17 mins, don't like to hire new stylists or train them. It's all about the haircut times, product precent, and quantity not quality. Franchisee I worked for wanted to pay me less then her stylists to be a manager, which doesn't make sense to give someone all the extra work and responsibility but pay them less then the people they are responsible for. The owner used intimidation methods on her stylists (glared with hostility, turned stylists against each other, assigned undesirable work for punishments, harshly and constantly criticizing stylists who don't meet her standards. Told everyone we are replaceable. I now work for their competitor and I am much happier
