Pros

There are some really good people here, but the leadership group is terrible.

Cons

If you’re considering a career at H2I Group I encourage you to look past the 5 star reviews that they convince the kids they bring in for summer internships to write. The negative reviews are an accurate reflection of the toxic work environment created by H2I leadership and their egos. Theses a lot of talk about “change” and people not being able to accept “change” in these comments but I think you have to consider the types of changes that have been made. In the last year or so this company has lost a president, cfo, coo, HR director, IT director, marketing director, and many more. Those are huge changes for a company of its size and as much Dan Moran wants to act like these are necessary, strategic changes, a lot of them were not his choice. Leaders who had been with this company for 10+ years are jumping ship and being replaced by people who do not understand this company’s history or it’s values.

H2I Group Response

Hi, Dan Moran here. Thank you for the the time you took to write your message. It is unfortunate read of the bitterness you carry towards the changes made under my leadership. It pains me to hear it actually, as I want all people to feel as positive and courageous about the future as I do. As President, I look at what is best for the company. Not the company we were...but the company we are becoming. One with an inclusive culture, flexible work environment and positive, kind, intelligent employee base. To achieve this, yes, we had to make many changes to our systems, process and staffing. Ironically, many of these changes were necessary to address several points mentioned in your posting. Something that will never change, however, is our company wide commitment to having the strongest ESOP program in the industry. An honor to the founding fathers who built this company and the legacy of current, forward thinking individuals who work hard and smart, every single day to ensure our greatness. Additionally, we will continue to mentor our inspiring intern pool with welcoming, challenging opportunities that result in one hell of an incredible experience for them. I am very proud to recognize 70% of our interns wrapped up their program with a job offer. It is a shame that their heartfelt connection to their experience, as shared on this platform, didn’t resonate with you. I hope you can come to a place where you recognize the importance of building up other people with positive support. And that you share in the enthusiasm and joys of change and progress. I appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts here on this platform. If there are other employees who feel similar to you, I hope that they will utilize the many internal platforms we in place to collect real-time actionable feedback. I value employees who shine a light on my blind spots. It takes courage to speak up. And we need them too, to eliminate dark corners, poor behavior and improve process and culture, as a team. Together we are #H2IStrong It is my hope that everyone who works at H2I Group for however long, leaves better than they arrived. Should you wish to discuss any of your points in person please contact me directly. I welcome the opportunity to talk through your message for your closure and ours. If I do not hear from you, please know I wish you well on your next adventure. Thank you, Dan Moran

Pros

My first three months at H2I Group have been fantastic. There is definitely a lot to learn when it comes to the position and the products we install, but the support system here is unmatched. My coworkers have been incredibly helpful every single day, making sure I have everything I need to get up to speed. It’s a great feeling to know you have a knowledgeable team backing you up as you settle in. It's been a very positive start to my time here as a Project Manager, and I'm looking forward to the future.

Cons

There is a steep learning curve when you first start. Because of the variety of products we install and the specifics of the project management processes, it can feel like you are drinking from a firehose at first. However, as I mentioned in the pros, the team is incredibly supportive, which makes tackling this challenge very manageable.

Pros

The ESOP is a great thing.

Cons

Management squeezes the most out of the good workers while rewarding the bad workers. Trying to run service like sales was the worst choice ever.
