Pros

HDR has a great culture and opportunity to stretch yourself with some great people. I appreciate the flexibility they have shown through the pandemic. Good variety of work and access to mentorship.

Cons

Texas employees impacted by the winter storms are being asked to use PTO or take unpaid time. Texas employees, who are already worrying about how to get food or potable water, are now having to think through how they will pull off an 80 hour week to just break even on a paycheck. Mind that this decision came on the heels of HDR internally boasting about an upswing in stock value. I understand we don't work in tech, but some decency and understanding of circumstance would have been appreciated here. We want to work, but when our work is tied to servers that are down due to statewide power outages there is truly nothing we could do.

Pros

Culture, schedule flexibility, depending on management, remote work, and employee owned, okay benefits

Cons

Parking sucks. The office is in downtown so you have pay just about any where you park. Work is repetitive or stagnant sometimes.

Pros

Fantastic teamwork. The Coastal Group is very close and highly collaborative. There is a lot of support from upper management in the Coastal Group. Lots of projects lined up.

Cons

PTO and Sick Leave are tied together.
