Pros
Nice coworkers (even though it’s a revolving door) Nice office space (really cool location in SF and NY) Nice vacation package (when employees can use it)
Cons
- Crazy work hours. The work given cannot ever be done in less than 60 hours week. The expectations from management who have no clue what the job requires makes unrealistic demands from employees. - the company being based in Germany operates with a vision that is often contradictory to how business is run in the US. (Ie: no work from home, salaries negotiated by Germany) - They start off by underpaying the employees, but by the time you factor in the 20+ OT hours/week, the hourly rates drops to pennies. They do not pay ANY overtime. - the CEO sets crazy goals and ignores the resources necessary to complete the jobs. Then when the goals are not met he withholds bonuses. - The turn over is insane in the US. Team was reduced by 70% in 6 months due to resignations but hiring freeze made it so that coworkers were not replaced. This caused a tremendous amount of stress on the consultants who stayed. - The morale is so low due to the increased work loads caused by team mates resignation. It was a race to resign to avoid getting stuck with even more accounts. - When they need resources they reallocate people to new jobs with added tasks and do not promote or offer an incentive for the employee. You can end up doing 2 jobs against your will with no remuneration.
