Pros
Most staff are friendly and helpful Flexible working
Cons
When joining Hallam they described themselves as a fast growing, world class agency. After joining it soon became apparent that they hired too many too quickly, forcing 20% of staff in to redundancy. They are so focused on being the "best place to work" that they forget about the most important things - having the right tools and the right amount of time to deliver good work to clients. So many projects were promised to clients with huge results and in reality limited time was allocated, and therefore results were unachievable. There are definite favourites at the company who will be treated more favourably than others. Some people in senior management have a list where they rate women in the office out of 10 based on appearance. Often promised fantastic career progression when in reality it is limited. Pay is not equal with some people in more junior roles paid more than consultants. Senior staff are happy to discuss private an personal details with other people.
