Pros
You will make lifelong friends with some of your colleagues as you must lean on each other for your own sanity's sake. Also, Hospitality clients are the greatest. Pay in the US is pretty decent. If you are in need of a job or desperate for a change of company, Harri is a fine (TEMPORARY) paycheck. Can also be fully remote!
Cons
Some of my favorites: --A completely oblivious, out of touch founder/ CEO. On the same call that we were informed our bonuses/ merit increases were being delayed by months (we were told this 5 days before they were meant to be paid), CEO told stories of "how fortunate he was to be able to bring his son & father along" on a global trek to speak with clients. He then discussed, for quite some time, how inflation/ drastic increases in cost of living are DEEPLY impacting our clients while seemingly forgetting that his entire team also lives on the same planet? --Team members are often treated like wards of the company. -I have known colleagues (two, completely separate occasions) that have had to step out of funeral services on approved days off to take work calls. -If you were going to either miss an All Hands meeting or simply have your camera off during, you had to log a reason why in a company-wide-public document. -7:30p and the CEO zooms you without warning, expect to have a coaching and counseling discussion the following day for not having business attire on.
