Pros
~Decent money (only at the management level). ~OK benefits (very expensive). ~Employees get bonus 2x a year (based on store performance). ~Good chance for advancement (Since people walk off the job frequently).
Cons
~Since the Kroger acquisition so much labor has been cut it makes it impossible to deliver on the companies expectations. It forces management to run around being overpaid stockers and get nothing accomplished that a leader should. ~Horrible work/life balance. ~Spends way too little on labor. ~Talks up being "freshest" and a great place to work but doesn't deliver. ~Declining fast. ~Pay low wages to employees yet expect high standards. ~2 people in the deli to produce, stock, help customers, clean etc.... NUTS! ~Either add more labor to Home Shop or get out of the business. You are disappointing off customer more than satisfying them because the shoppers are stretched so then. ~Poor systems. No easy way to tell if something is in stock, hard to navigate internal intranet, shelf checkouts that don't work consistently, still does million dollar inventories on an EXCEL SPREADSHEET??? 2019 people..... ~Way too many 6 day work weeks. ~Contributes negatively to mental health.
