Pros

Plenty of company events to mask the cons below. Great benefits. Great people outside of arrogant senior leadership.

Cons

Below market compensation for above market work load. Zero transparency into career trajectory or compensation. Subpar training program across all levels. Complete disregard for the changing times. For example, multiple in office COVID outbreaks have been swept under the rug. Looking for any flexibility in your work schedule? Forget it, you will be in office 5 days per week no matter your situation. Heavy "Old boys" or "Bro" culture that can't seem to be broken. Those who got in early get taken care of while the newer employees are stiffed in one way or another. There is an extreme push to impress the CEO in any way you can rather than drive investment decisions on fundamentals. Negative opinions tend to get silenced. The investment strategy is focused on "driving the narrative" rather than true investment fundamentals. It was clear that the acquisitions team incentives are driven by volume, not deal quality as research and insight was continually ignored. At the junior level, there was significant disparity of pay among employees who worked there for the same length of time and experience. Favoritism is abundant.
