Pros
Casual work environment. Flexible hours and work at home was an option when I was around. On Fridays people could sign up to bring their dog to work.
Cons
Where to begin here, the majority of their issues stem from a buyout. A company called Lambert has bought out Hawley and destroyed the work environment. They have fired veterans from their positions and forced people to take pay cuts while increasing their responsibilities. Hawley had its issues before but the changes Lambert has implemented have ruined the workflow in the warehouse and are destroying the reputation Hawley has with its customers. They now have a B shift and force people to work on weekends to make up for lost time. Time is lost because of a complete overhaul of the website and ERP system. Lambert is in Canada so they control the company remotely and don't seem to care about the culture anymore. They get great benefits and massive amounts of vacation time but have no issue making people take pay cuts in the U.S. If you disagree with a Lambert employee you might as well start looking for another job. In fact if you still work there do yourself a favor and find another job. This was a fun place to work until this buyout.
