Artificial , DEAD , devoid of humanity in the admin, ruled by lawyers, ruled by fear , and PC . No emotions are allowed .
I worked for HP for 7 years. They are a group of wonderful doctors . However, as soon as there is one instance of a problem shows up that may make them worry about you being a liability, they will dump you because all that matters is the $ and 7 years of practice with nearly 90-100% patient satisfaction and high regard by your colleagues and 25 years of medical practice will count for naught . You will be forgotten based on their lawyers advice. Why? Because even a false claim is a liability and you are never worth that risk . Doctors are a dime a dozen .
Also, the work environment has turned into a suffocating politically correct rigid atmosphere where one cannot laugh or joke or talk about anything but it he most mundane subject. People rush from room to room and then rush to their computer to complete charts . Conversation, companionship, collegiality , support , laughter, happiness are all things of the long past yesteryears . If that “stuff” matters to you, find a smaller non HMO, non attorney controlled work environment devoid of administrators
