Pros

Learned a lot because you have a lot of responsibilities.

Cons

If your looking for advancing your career, this isn’t the company for you. No career growth opportunities. If you have a good manager that wants to help you grow, they will promote you but it’s very rare at Schein. I was with the company for 3 years and I saw 10 people leave the company because of this issue. A lot of people at the company have been stuck with the same title for 20 years. No flex time, 8:30-5:00 schedule. They work you to death and you don’t even get compensated for it. Don’t get fired here because you won’t get paid until 30 days later. They are an awful company who act like they care about their employees, but they don’t. This is a dead end company and very old school mentality and is revolving door. They say you will get a end of the year bonus, but you rarely get it. They make excuses so they don’t have to pay you, even though you deserve it.

Pros

Henry Schein has a genuinely collaborative culture where teamwork and respect are part of daily work life. Leadership is supportive and encourages open communication, professional development, and continuous learning. There are great opportunities to grow your skill set, especially through cross functional work with teams across pricing, product data, sales, and operations. Work–life balance is solid, the company has remote opportunities and is a respected leader in the healthcare industry. I also appreciate the company’s commitment to community outreach and social responsibility—it reinforces that we’re working for a mission-driven organization.

Cons

Like most large organizations, processes can sometimes feel slow due to the number of teams involved. Change management can take time, and cross-department alignment requires patience. However, leadership has been taking steps to improve workflows and increase efficiency.
