Pros

Some of the people are decent and honest, but not management especially senior managers and directors. The work itself quite enjoyable.

Cons

Unless you are a manager or senior management then forget working here. They treat their staff horrendously and don’t see the issues right in front of them. You’ll never get praise for anything you do, you’ll never get a payrise and forget about any flexibility or compassion. Unless you’re in a certain ‘click’ you’ll never do well. Overworked, underpaid and not appreciated. The worst HR department I’ve ever known. Have no clue what they are doing and again on management side only. None of their ‘values’ are adhered to, which the company state they do! Avoid working here unless you want to be unhappy.

Atrocious company ethics

Pros

Annual wage increase. Set hours, not shift work. Tea/coffee, squash provided.

Cons

Training is basically non-existent. Incredibly high turnover of staff. Customers talk to you like scum, management do not intervene. In fact, if someone shouts, swears, insults you, they will be treated as a priority! Sales reps, who are your colleagues, talk to you just as badly. Their behavior is not addressed because they make the company money. The sole focus of the business is to make as much money as possible, they do not care who they step on on the way. Constantly under staffed, so always over-worked, and definitely under appreciated. They say they aren't a call centre, yet every day there is a meeting about how many calls were lost the previous day - they couldnt care less how many calls you may take, only how many are lost is addressed. There is no focus within the role, you are pulled from pillar to post on a daily basis. You are not listened to when you share an opinion, it is a dictatorship from management. If it wasnt for some good people there, the minimal morale level would be underground. Very little chances for promotion.
