Pros
1. Flexi Timings. 2. Good and planned office transport. 3. If in .net or Peoplesoft team, then may get onsite opportunities. 4. Good for freshers, they will literally spoon feed you. 5. Lot of training planned for wanna be managers and requirement analysis/gathering. 6. Can get a good hike on joining.
Cons
1. Everything is billing oriented. People sitting next to you may not work for months while you do 16-17 hrs a day. 2. Office transport is paid. 3. Very less onsite opportunities for Java folks. Also Java group is neglected by the top management. Its like you are there somewhere in org but nobody cares. 4. Projects are very poorly planned andd almost everytime employee takes the hit for poor planning on upper management. 5. If you sit in one of the ODC then you are literally treated as slaves for your onsite client. You are expected to work like robot. There wont be any KT, any requirement documentation, projet tracking. 6.Irregular annual hike. No arrear plus they will keep postponing it by as many months as possible. 7. Poor hike ( 2%, 5%, &% etc). It may happen that the person in your team who didnt get much work in the year get 5% and your being a star employee always overburdened with work get 8% :). 8.Poor office infrastructure and maintainence. Cafeteria sucks, food is bad and overpriced. No pest control ( cockroaches and other insects crawl in washroom and around coffee machines). 9. Policies are not employee friendly. they dont give you food coupons to save tax. 10. Only 1.5 Lac insurance coverage. 11. Limited and crappy employee recreational stuff and activities. 12. Employee recognition sytem is poor. 13. These people work on P4 machines. Internet is restricted, educational sites are also prohibited. 14. You may not get salary on last working day. 15. You fill face transport problem in case yo stay late night and dont own a conveyance.
