Pros

Working for Hilton for 10 years, and what a ride. After being promoted 5 times, working at 5 different hotels, in 4 different states, I believe I can truly say Hilton is a wonderful company to work for. Compensation is fair and aggressive within the hospitality brand, benefits are industry leading and have even been highlighted in the news in 2016. Hilton is a fair employer, with a strong culture that rewards hard work and is committed to its teams. Come join us.

Cons

We always wonder if the grass is greener on the other side (its normal). Every job has its ups and downs, and I believe Hilton has taken team member feedback well, and developed solutions to improve the quality of life for its team. I would like to see affordable child care assistance considered as a benefit for us, but am happy with the progress Hilton has made towards benefits so over the years. We are going in the "right" direction.

Pros

Great staff and lowermanagement. Last general manager was unfriendly and not very helpful.

Cons

I was supposed to get long tenure status for lifetime friends of family with my veteran status. Worked at Hilton 9+ years. Supposed to get 1 year for my veteran status (according to the handbook at that time) which would make 10 years. HR supposedly turned in application in August 2024. I even followed up and was told they were working it. It's been almost 2 years and haven't heard anything yet. Very disappointed and dissatisfied. Guess I won't be staying at Hilton Hotels.
