      Pros

      Great opportunities and training to advance. Excellent benefits offered as employees grow. Very well known hotel chain with great resources.

      Cons

      At the Milwaukee downtown location, managers were not as willing to hire from within. They would rather hire from outside the company and allow their current staff to be less than they could be.

      Great staff and lowermanagement. Last general manager was unfriendly and not very helpful.

      Cons

      I was supposed to get long tenure status for lifetime friends of family with my veteran status. Worked at Hilton 9+ years. Supposed to get 1 year for my veteran status (according to the handbook at that time) which would make 10 years. HR supposedly turned in application in August 2024. I even followed up and was told they were working it. It's been almost 2 years and haven't heard anything yet. Very disappointed and dissatisfied. Guess I won't be staying at Hilton Hotels.
