Pros

Get to meet new people every single day, get to hear their life stories, cry with them, hug them, laugh with them, and be part of their vacation experience!

Cons

The hot walks all over the campus can be a bit much. Nobody likes to break their heels off every 2 months and sweat profusely in front of guests. The summer heat here can be brutal and I'd guess that some guests find it repulsive to be with reps who are dripping sweat, having to wear suit coats and pants. Upper management was not pleasant. A strong sense of arrogance and testosterone all around. Not a lot of opportunity in management for women.

Pros

If you want the facade of a fake family this is the place to work. Management has been taught in their own meetings how to groom and manipulate low level staff (i have seen the training materials) and they are very good at it. They think that by saying that everyone is family that they can get people to stay but people soon figure out the facade.

Cons

This company is on a downward trajectory. They're technology is decades old they simply don't have the resources as their competitors and they will have to sell and be absorbed by larger company so you can expect layoffs and more consolidation which just burns out people. Also many things they do and the way the Way they handle certain things causes money to just flow out the door. These things have been brought to the attention of management but they ignore the sieve of money leaving the company because they're embarrassed it may be seen as their responsibility and it really is. Most of the managers don't even know how to run many of these old and new systems. They definitely don't abide by the rule that the manager should know the specific way a job is done with their underlings. Most of them would not be able to take over the job of a low-level staff member. Also there are 0 SOPs. The best you will find is ancient SOPs from the year 2000 to 2015, years outdated and most of the time on systems that are not even used anymore. Management spends more time dumping their work on lower level employees so that they can be freed up for more meetings in which they spend most of their time just joking around and not accomplishing any work. Trust me I've seen it all.
