The company is really in the weeds with respect to getting itself out of debt, initiating organic growth and transforming itself into a sustainable, long-term player. In San Diego, a switch in enterprise systems has resulted in a complete breakdown of financial tracking and management: the company cannot provide managers with reliable data on run rates on expense line items, so managing costs and developing budgets that support company goals is not possible--the outlook for a company that cannot manage its costs is not good. Good people continue to leave the company due to dissatisfaction with the chaos of day to day operations and the lack of career opportunities.
