A company built by American Talent that shuns American Talent. - Former IT Honeywell Employee Review

Pros

The compensation starts out pretty good, but if you end up working for a scumbag manager - this company has TONS of them - you won't ever see a raise and you'll be lucky if you ever see a four digit bonus. Enjoy the nice paycheck while it lasts, because, if you are located in the US, you have a bullseye on your head anyway.

Cons

Sooner or later your job is going to India. Ignore the current "what do I do to keep my job?" advice that's circulating right now. It doesn't matter how many successful projects you work on and it doesn't matter how many hours you put in. This company WILL send your job to India and they don't care what you do for their benefit. Dave Cote has been quoted as stating there is to be no hiring in mature markets. You don't need to be a brain surgeon to figure out reducing headcount in mature markets is high on his list, too.

Pros

Honeywell has a really good early careers program.

Cons

If you like upstate New York, then it's a really pleasant place to work.

Pros

The team is great and people are excited to have you there. You are given value-added work and projects week 1. There are a lot of other interns at both the graduate and undergraduate level so there is a strong sense of intern community and support. If you have to relocate for the internship, complete housing is provided (they find you an apartment and pay for everything - results on the apartment itself may vary but are generally close to the office).

Cons

Varying start dates led to varying first day experience. The onboarding day for those who had it day 1 was great, but some interns got it after their first week and had little direction day 1.
